Arizona Set Aside Procurement Program

The State Procurement Office, Department of Administration is committed in its effort to assist both agencies and suppliers in understanding, navigating, and using the Set Aside Program for their procurement needs.

HB2502 amended the Arizona Revised Statute 41-2636 (A.R.S. §41-2636) of the Arizona Procurement Code to require all state governmental units to endeavor to set aside one percent (1%) of new purchases or contracts for products, materials, and services from Arizona Industries for the Blind (AIB), certified nonprofit agency for disabled individuals (C-NADI), or Arizona Correctional Industries (ACI).
 

It also requires that the Director of Administration appoint a committee to determine those materials and services that are provided, manufactured, produced, and offered for sale by AIB, C-NADI, and ACI.

    Appointments are effective January 1, 2008 and last for a total of one (1) calendar year.
